PS5 Started Beta Cloud Gaming
Sony recently released a new beta software for PlayStation 5, allowing select PS Plus Premium subscribers to stream PS5 games in resolutions of up to 4K.
Previously, it was known that PlayStation had plans to introduce this feature, but the available resolutions were unknown.
As observed by X and ResetEra users, the beta version includes the choice to stream games in four different resolutions: 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p (also known as 4K). However, it is still unclear whether the maximum resolution refers to the graphical quality or the resolution of the stream itself.
In June, Sony announced that it had started testing cloud streaming for PS5 and that this feature would be added as an additional benefit for Premium tier subscribers of PlayStation Plus.
